When Dirty Jacks Poker went looking for somebody to build their website, they chose Clark Web Design. Their requests were uniquely suited for Clark Web Design's EZ-act! Content Management System. They were looking for the following:- To list where poker games were being played and their start times on a daily basis.
- There had to be a Calendar of events that listed where events were located and any specials for that day.
- The Leader board would list the players' wins and points over a 2 month period.
- A bi-monthly tournament registration form was needed.
- A newsletter that could keep players informed of daily activities.
- All of this had to be created where the owners could make changes on the fly and at their convenience.
The unique feature of this website is a Content Management System built around a calendar of events. The home page determines the current day and lists the events for that day automatically.
The leader board, calendar of events and newsletter is controlled through the administration section. With the click of a button, the tournament registration form is turned on or off. When turned on, the registration form would be listed in the navigation system, otherwise, it is hidden.
They create and save their newsletter article. When ready, they send out the newsletter to all of their members with just a click of a button.
